I am a devotee of Lykorgos! (because yeah, I actually took the quiz too.) My academic interests include new media for scholarship and creativity, poetry, and feminism. I also love social media (I’m pretty obsessed with Facebook), music, science fiction television (especially Whedon and Doctor Who, but lately I’m binging on Supernatural to catch up) and interdisciplinary studies.

I hope to write for personal pleasure in my blog on this site, as this is something I have not done much of lately!

I was originally a resident full timer, but I stepped away from college for a year to secure a supervisor position with the United Parcel Service. I’m witty and indifferent, easily distracted though diligent, and I mostly keep to myself. Effective communication to the public is needed now more than ever with the spreading of misinformation that generates confusion in controversial science topics. I want to become an academic researcher and eventually contribute to policymaking.
